The purpose of the Seed Capital and Business Development (SCBD) programme is to further the impact of the DGGF part Investment funds local SMEs.

Supporting Early Stage SME Finance Initiatives

SME finance initiatives that are of strategic interest for the DGGF, but too young, small or risky for an investment to form part of the DGGF investment portfolio, can apply for support from this Early Stage SME Finance programme.

Supporting DGGF investment clients

DGGF investment clients can apply for support to strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, or offer business development support to their clientele (local SMEs). If needed, investment clients will be supported in bringing their TAX/ESG/Result measurement practices in line with DGGF standards.

Developing and sharing knowledge

The DGGF will focus on generating and sharing practice-based knowledge, by working with and learning from investees and others in the field.

Developing entrepreneurial ecosystems

Local initiatives that aim to provide quality and affordable capacity-building services to young and first-time entrepreneurs in a sustainable way, can apply for support from this Incubation Ecosystem support programme.
