Exporting Dutch entrepreneurs - transaction - energykits - Liberia

The transaction concerns the delivery of 3,400 'Rural Spark Energy Kits' and the provision of training. It mainly concerns basic kits with 3 lamps and a radio, in addition energy kits are supplied for a small part with a 32 inch television.

The 'energy kits' consist of a central router with a variable number of small boxes that supply energy but can also store it. The energy is generated by one or more solar panels. The energy can be used to power lamps, telephones, fans, TVs and even computers. A system once purchased can easily be expanded modularly, even in small steps. Users of the systems are households and small businesses. Users are given the option to pay in installments. There is a built-in PayGo mechanism for this. The system can also be turned off remotely if there are payment arrears.
