249 Startups was established in April 2018 as the premier ecosystem
enabler of early stage high growth entrepreneurships across the
Republic of Sudan. Since the start of the civil war in April 2023, many companies have to stop their services completely. 249 Startups's crisis support provides an innovative digital intervention that provides cost efficiency, scalability, and market additionality to a state in war where no post war SME interventions have yet been deployed. SCBD's support aims to assists the crisis support to guarantee the continuity of services of over 300 Sudanese SME's.
