#ClosingTheGap ventures into the MENA region!
The Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF) partners with the Embassies of the Netherlands in Morocco and Tunisia and gathers stakeholders from the local entrepreneurial ecosystem to identify possible solutions to foster the growth of local businesses.
DGGF’s #ClosingTheGap series was designed to improve the common understanding of key challenges faced by the so-called “missing middle”, enterprises who have outgrown micro-finance but do not yet have access to regular financial services. As part of the #ClosingTheGap series, entrepreneurs, financiers, incubators, accelerators and other entrepreneurship support initiatives took part in a workshop in Morocco and Tunisia. During these workshops, stakeholders dove into the local “missing middle” characteristics and needs to derive strategies for the ecosystem to better serve the different types of local enterprises and their needs.

Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF), en coopération avec les ambassades des Pays-Bas au Maroc et en Tunisie réunissent les parties prenantes des écosystèmes entrepreneuriaux marocain et tunisien pour identifier les solutions possibles pour favoriser la croissance des entreprises locales.
La série #ClosingTheGap du DGGF a été conçue pour améliorer la compréhension commune des principaux défis auxquels est confronté le «missing middle». Dans le cadre de cette série, financeurs, incubateurs et accélérateurs, initiatives de soutien à l’entreprenariat et entrepreneurs ont participé à l’atelier de l’étude #ClosingTheGap Tunisie et #ClosingTheGap Maroc. Au cours de ces ateliers, les caractéristiques et besoins du “missing middle” local ont été examinés pour en dériver des stratégies qui permettraient de mieux servir les besoins financiers et non financiers des différents types d’entreprises locales.
