The Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF) is providing funding for a Know Your Customer (KYC) Support Program to enhance compliance among fund managers supported by DGGF. 

DGGF collaborates with Lessons Learned Ltd, a consultancy specializing in anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance. The initiative offers standardized tools, tailored coaching, and peer-learning opportunities to boost fund managers' KYC capacity and risk management, especially in emerging markets and fragile states with complex regulatory environments.

This program aligns with DGGF's commitment to promoting responsible investment practices and strengthening financial intermediaries. In response to increasing regulatory scrutiny and transparency demands, fund managers must develop robust KYC frameworks to mitigate risks, thereby enhancing market integrity and investor confidence, which supports a transparent financial ecosystem.

DGGF's investment in this program reflects a proactive approach to capacity building, equipping fund managers with the necessary tools and knowledge to improve due diligence and foster long-term financial sustainability. Insights from the pilot phase will inform future technical assistance within the DGGF portfolio.
